I recall the roles he played in the struggles for the creation of Ekiti State and I can safely submit that he is a man of great and positive influence, full of wise counsel.

“Needless to say that Kabiyesi’s exemplary leadership contributes in no small way in making Ado- Ekiti, the state capital, a peaceful and accommodating town where people from different parts of the country can live, work and invest without the fear of intimidation.

“Today, Ado- Ekiti is home to everyone regardless of tribe language, culture or religion. This is perhaps one of the reasons why Ado Ekiti has witnessed a tremendous transformation.

Egbeyemi in a statement by the Special Assistant (Media), Odunayo Ogunmola, described the Ewi as a beacon of light, an embodiment of God’s grace and mercy, an epitome of humility, a lover of peace, a bridge-builder and a king who exhibits a fear of God.

He noted that the Ewi had selflessly served Ekiti State which he championed its creation saying Ado Ekiti was lucky to have him as the king with the city enjoying the status of the state capital, economic nerve centre, tourist destination, an education hub and cultural centre of the note.
