US Presidential Election: Trump Fires at Obama again

In what is turning out to be a war of words on social media, President Donald Trump of the United States of America has fired at the Joe Biden campaign yet again, this time particularly aiming at his immediate past predecessor, Barack Obama who obviously seems to be on Biden’s side.

President Trump took this shot through his Twitter handle in the early hours of Saturday

“Obama worked harder for Hilary Clinton and the losing Clinton Campaign than she worked for herself! Now he’s working with Sleepy Joe – will be the same result. MAGA is energized like never before!”

Four hours earlier, President Trump had published a tweet also targeted at Barack Obama who always tends to be on the other side of the fence, throwing his full weight behind Trump’s Democratic opponents.

“We beat Obama 4 years ago, he worked harder than Crooked Hillary, and we’ll do it again!” Trump said.

The President’s tweet is only the latest verbal hurl between the two presidential candidates, who have been locking horns on social media in recent months, launching verbal attacks at each other’s political manifesto.

A few hours earlier, the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden had also criticized President Trump’s competence to lead the American people through this period of crisis, in view of his inability to develop a workable strategy to contain the spread of the ravaging coronavirus.

“We’re facing some of the biggest challenges in our history –and it’s abundantly clear Donald Trump isn’t up for the job” he said.

In his response President Trump claimed that the spike in recorded cases only goes to demonstrate a spike in testing capacity, which demonstrates the fact that his team is working assiduously to manage the spread of the virus

“We have more Cases because we do more Testing. It’s Lamestream media Gold!” Trump alleged.

Biden, who served as Obama’s Vice President during President Obama’s Administration, has emerged as the Democrat candidate in the 2020 Presidential election, which in effect, pitches the President and his predecessor against each other yet again; and, President Trump, in his characteristic vocal manner, isn’t hiding his feelings towards the former US President.
